Who are we? and what separates us from the rest?

We are a professional supplier of (custom) sensors, tracking systems and retrieval systems with which you can monitor, guard, track and locate objects. By using multiple techniques, our solutions work in areas and situations where other systems fail.

Hardware

SkyLab is a brand independent supplier of wired and non-wired Sensors, GPS tracking and measuring systems.

In addition to these systems, we also offer solutions for weather observations, water level and CO2 measurements, volume measurement solutions and even digital mouse traps. We can also have all the systems mentioned above work on LoRa® or SigFox, which prevents any costs for a 2G, 3G or 4G subscription.

Customization

We are experts in producing: tracking and trace systems at product level and we have the right technology and knowledge for security and observation of goods, objects and people.

In addition, we develop custom sensor solutions for various market problems, using existing products that are made suitable for specific applications or by developing a fully customized product if viable solution is available for this.

Applicationhosting

We host applications for all standard GPS, GSM, LBS, LoRa® and IoT systems. These applications can be used on any computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. Thanks to years of development, built up with the expertise of users and developers, the applications are perfectly optimized.

Security 24/7

Connected systems can be monitored fully automatically 24/7. Here, times or other special wishes can be included in a composed script. this way, exceptions and alarms automatically report to warning addresses and, if desired, the receipt and follow-up can be confirmed, for example

Recovery

Our tracking-specialists are real experts thanks to many years of practical experience. Since the 1990s, our experts have been at the forefront of successful tracing and repatriation of stolen goods, both nationally and internationally.

All investigations are carried out in consultation with the owner, client, insurer and police. We possess specially equipped detection vehicles with the necessary work-tools. In addition to tracking-vehicles, we also harbor watervessels and can even deploy certified drones.

Simcards

Wij leveren exclusieve M2M prepaid simkaarten met Europa (plus) dekking welke 12 maanden of langer geldig zijn. Deze speciale multiprovider-simkaarten ondersteunen 2G, 3G en 4G van meerdere telecomaanbieders. Hierdoor bent u niet afhankelijk van één vaste aanbieder. Met onze multiprovider-simkaarten heeft u maximale dekking en ondersteuning bij volg-, monitor-, en opsporingsoperaties. Deze mogelijkheden heeft u NIET bij standaard simkaarten en aanbieders. Omdat onze simkaart altijd het beste netwerk kiest, is locatie gebaseerde service (LBS) nauwkeuriger en beter toepasbaar.

LoRaWAN®

LoRaWAN® is an open protocol Network. This low power telecommunication network is ideal for long distance communication. Networks that use the LoRa® technology are ideally suited for the Internet of Things (IoT), which you can use to exchange data with smart sensors. This technique requires less complex hardware, which means that applications are cheaper, smaller and more energy-efficient than SIM card solutions. Sensors that use LoRa® can work independently for years.

Location Based Services (LBS)

We apply location Based Services (LBS) or also called location based services when GPS location services no longer work. This can be caused by buildings, structures or if objects have been consciously or unconsciously put out of reach. With LBS we can determine which base station or mast has been reached. this way, we can get a position indication. We can track and locate goods based on LBS. LBS is applied to GPS, LoRa, Wireless LAN (WiFi), Bluetooth, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and even sound based is possible. LBS is a proven essential support when due to circumstances, the standard positioning has been lost. In practice, this often occurs with theft. This is one of the reasons that many stolen goods do not return based on GPS alone. By integrating LBS into our solutions, it is possible to internationally track and locate objects where other systems fail.

Radiobeacons

In addition to the traditional techniques, we integrate radio beacons in special situations. Radio beacons are used to locate objects in buildings or closed spaces. When standard techniques, such as GPS or even LBS, are no longer sufficient for investigations, this technique is the solution. Stolen/lost vehicles, work equipment and/or goods are often intentionally hidden from view. Radio beacons are then the last link for effective detection. These channels are not detected because they are not immediately active. Radio beacons are integrated according to client specifications and can bridge distances of up to a few kilometers. Radio beacons can be used on HF, VHF, UHF, SHF, WiFi, LoRa®, A-RFID or bluetooth. Radio beacons are traced with special equipment, scanners or with applications on a mobile phone , tablet, laptop or desktop computer. Investigations can be carried out by the user or by our investigation specialists with specially equipped vehicles.

Wifi

Wifi is a technique that makes a wireless connection to devices or the internet. Instead of cables, Wi-Fi receives and sends data via radio waves. This is also in line with the development of the “Internet of Things”. Thanks to WiFi, more and more devices can connect. Wi-Fi stations have their own identity and are normally located at fixed locations. Using a WiFi scan location can be determined in buildings without GPS . With this technique, WiFi stations that have signal strength are located nearby. This variant is also called local-based services (LBS).

Bluetooth

Bluetooth is an industrie standard communication technique for wireless connections. Bluetooth can navigate a distance of 100 meters between devices and sensors. Thanks to Bluetooth communication, external sensors can be connected wirelessly. Bluetooth applications are energy efficient and can be made very small. For example, a small key ring with a button cell battery can broadcast for a few years. Each Bluetooth PCB has its own identity, making them recognizable and making connections quick. With Bluetooth beacons it is easy to locate goods at a short distance. There are even linked (telephone) applications that work together via the internet so that a joint search for Bluetooth identities can be done.
